Real World Friends and Online Friends
Who in this class has ever chatted with someone online, either through email, a game system, comments, or messaging? Have you ever spoken to someone who you never met in real life before?What are the differences between the friends you know in real life and the ones you know online?
It is very important to be careful never to share information about yourself with someone you meet online, because they may not be who they say they are. Never give our your real name, your age, address, phone number, or school name to anyone who you don't know and trust in real life. Always ask your parents permission before you share any information about yourself online.

Today's Assignment
Use Kid Pix to make a poster showing ways to keep your information safe from online strangers. When you are done, Export it, and post it to your blog.
